Anyone may purchase an accident report. This can be done in person at the Sheriff's Office or by sending a request via mail with a Cashier's Check (from a local bank) or money order for $5.
Pictures of accidents may also be purchased for $1.00 per picture. This can also be done in person or by mailing a Cashier's Check (from a local bank) or money order to Sheriff's Department. It is best to call 812-254-1060 to ask how many pictures are on the disk.
In the case that there is a video available, it costs $25.
All Cashier's Checks (from a local bank) or money orders should be made payable to the Daviess County Sheriff's Department.
